MentorSET is a successful mentoring scheme to help women working in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) which has been running since 2002. We provide independent mentors who understand the challenges faced and who can provide support and advice.
We have now created many hundreds of mentoring pairs spread across the UK and encompassing many different STEM careers. Feedback shows that our participants are benefiting enormously and that MentorSET is playing a useful part in helping women in STEM in the UK.
The cost for a WES Member to join the scheme as a mentee is £250 inclusive of VAT. Packages are available for organisations wishing to link their employees with a mentor, and can be purchased in bundles of 10, 20 or 50 at a discounted rate. Contact Jacqui Hawkes at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in one of these packages.
MentorSET is run by the Women's Engineering Society (WES). Individuals wishing to join MentorSET must be Members of WES. Join here.
